Michael J. O'Donnell Corporate Counsel, Secretary
Michael J. O'Donnell is a Partner in Corporate and Securities Law at the law firm of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in Palo Alto, California. He has been providing general corporate representation to emerging growth companies for more than 20 years, with particular expertise in venture capital financings, public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, technology licensing, and corporate partnering transactions. Mr. O'Donnell has published several articles and has been invited to speak on corporate strategic alliances and creative financing techniques. Mr. O'Donnell received his law degree, cum laude, from Harvard Law School and undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Bucknell University.

Gladys H. Monroy, PhD Intellectual Property
Gladys H. Monroy, Ph.D. is a Partner at the law firm of Morrison & Foerster, in Palo Alto, California. She has practiced intellectual property law since 1986 in the areas of patents and technology transfer agreements, with particular expertise in the life science related practice areas. Dr. Monroy provides strategic counseling and comprehensive patent portfolio management for small, medium, and large companies. Dr. Monroy has served as president, chair or co-chair of a number of committees of intellectual property law associations, including the Silicon Valley Intellectual Property Law Association. Dr. Monroy has received public recognition for her work, and been named in the Best Lawyers in America directory, as well as one of the top lawyers in Silicon Valley. Dr. Monroy holds a Ph.D. in biochemistry and an M.S. in biology from New York University, a B.A. in chemistry from Hunter College, and a J.D. from the University of San Francisco Law School. She was an NIH post-doctoral fellow in molecular biology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and was on the faculties of the New York Medical College and the University of California, San Francisco.

Peter Barton Hutt Regulatory
Peter Barton Hutt is a senior counsel at the law firm of Covington & Burling LLP in Washington, D.C. specializing in food and drug law. Mr. Hutt served as Chief Counsel for the Food and Drug Administration during 1971-1975 during which time he was instrumental in establishing the OTC Drug Review and the Biological Drugs Review. He has participated in the drafting of most major FDA legislation considered by Congress during the past forty years. Mr. Hutt is actively involved in several organizations related to health care. He is a member of academic, philanthropic, and venture capital advisory boards, and serves on the Boards of Trustees for the Institute for Health Policy Analysis and the Food and Drug Law Institute, on the Working Group on Private Sector Incentives for Drugs for Diseases in Developing Countries of the Gates Foundation, and on the Board of Directors of the AERAS Global TB Vaccine Foundation, among others. Mr. Hutt has received public recognition in The Washingtonian magazine, in the National Law Journal, in European Counsel, in Business Week and in Legal Times. In 2005, Mr. Hutt was presented the FDA Distinguished Alumni Award by FDA Commissioner Crawford and the Lifetime Achievement Award for research advocacy by the Foundation for Biomedical Research. Mr. Hutt has authored, co-authored or edited several casebooks, chapters and articles related to food and drug law. Mr. Hutt received his law degree from Harvard School, Master of Laws degree in Food and Drug Law from NYU Law School, and undergraduate degree from Yale University.
